Options Choices
Key Stage 4
Choosing the subjects for Year 10 is one of the first big decisions that you have to make in your school life. Some of you will already have a good idea of which subjects you are best at, and which ones you enjoy. Some may already have ideas about future careers, but for most students it will take careful thought before choosing what to study. You do not need to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life, but it helps if you have some idea. You can always change your mind later and it is never too late to learn something new. If, later on, you need to study another subject for your career, you can take additional courses. People carry on studying and learning throughout their working lives, to open up new choices and career options. This is why Carre’s Grammar School and the Robert Carre Trust are committed to lifelong learning.
